Perth by Night
Don’t forget your sunglasses! Perth, the sunniest city in Australia, is an oasis of urban sophistication and natural beauty, offering glorious views, culture, and a culinary scene that can’t be missed. Perth is also one of Australia's less populated and more leisurely metropolitan cities.
Explore King Street, a historic cultural district, famous for its fashion house, cafes, art galleries, and specialty bookstores and Botanic Garden for panoramic views of the city skyline and Swan River. The city is well-positioned for alfresco dining and even better, white, sandy beaches are no more than 80 kilometers away.
Other highlights include Elizabeth Quay, a property featuring a fresh and modern design and a uniquely crafted art collection and 2.5km of arcades, built in the city center to keep shoppers shaded and cool, also providing interesting routes for exploration.
With its sunny climate, lively culture scene, and gorgeous beaches, Perth provides the backdrop for an unforgettable Western Australia vacation.

Quokka on Rottnest Island
Just a short ferry ride from Perth, treat yourself to the crystal-clear waters, secluded beaches, and underwater beauty of Rottnest Island. Whether you want to take a guided walk or cycle through the area at your own pace, there is much to discover and explore at Rottnest Island.
Here you’ll meet the island’s famous quokkas (often dubbed the happiest animals on earth!), small marsupials, much like very tiny kangaroos. Thousands of these friendly animals call Rottnest home and have been known to pose for pictures. Plus, you can spot dolphins and seals year-round, along with humpback whales from September-December.
Snorkel, dive, or kayak the island, which is lined with 83 of the most beautiful bays and beaches in the world. If you enjoy cycling, discovering the island on a bike is highly recommended!
Diving with the Whale Sharks at the Ningaloo Reef
A UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its coral reefs and marine biodiversity, travelers can experience Ningaloo’s coral formations directly from the shore. This designation ensures that its natural beauty and biodiversity are protected.
It is also one of the few places in the world that offers travelers an opportunity to swim and snorkel with whale sharks, the gentle giants of the sea. Whale sharks visit the reef between March and July, providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience to snorkel and swim alongside the world's largest fish. The reef is also home to abundant marine life including manta rays, humpback whales, sea turtles, dolphins, and a variety of colorful fish, making it an underwater paradise for snorkelers and divers alike.
In addition to underwater adventure, Ningaloo Reef and the surrounding areas offer travelers a number of other activities such as kayaking, glass-bottom boat tours, fishing, hiking, wildlife spotting, and stunning landscapes.
The Bungle Bungles, Kimberley
Secluded, breathtaking, and bursting with adventure, the Kimberley is Western Australia destination that can’t be missed! Get ready to be stunned by the dramatic gorges, pristine waterfalls, scenic landscapes, and natural wonder of the Kimberley, one of the world’s last true wilderness regions. This region offers a unique experience, combining natural beauty with rich cultural heritage.
The Kimberley is renowned for its breathtaking and diverse landscapes. From the iconic Bungle Bungle Range in Purnululu National Park, to the gorges and waterfalls of Mitchell Plateau and King George River, the scenery will leave an unforgettable impression on travelers.
In addition to the serene and peaceful vibe, the Kimberley offers a rich Indigenous heritage, including vast Aboriginal rock art, such as those in the Wandjina and Gwion Gwion styles. Visitors can learn about traditional Aboriginal heritage and lifestyles, especially on a guided tour with Indigenous guides!
There’s very few parts of the world that can boast vibrant, culturally-rich cities, pristine beaches, and diverse landscapes in one region. In Western Australia, travelers can experience natural beauty, unique wildlife, and unbelievable history and culture.
And while Western Australia may be vast in size, it offers the chance to get away from the crowds to find peace in a place of uninhabited wilderness that’s hard to find elsewhere.
